Time Exposure

Spring 2021
Time Exposure began through the process of using the long exposure / shutter speed on a camera as a tool of exploration. I designed an installation of layered film prints inspired by the layering or framing that occurs when using the shutter speed to generate a long exposure image.  I wanted to play with the idea of light and time used to create such an image. The installation itself was temporal, just myself and a few friends documenting the installation on a windy day in Providence.
