Viva-City Type Specimen

Fall 2020
VivaCity Typeface is a combination of characteristics derived from two art-deco type specimens of the American Type Founders. Parisian and Broadway (regular and engraved). In this specimen book, VivaCity is featured in a series of typographic posters in practice for city branding. VivaCity is used to represent the architecture, landscape, or visual pattern of a city. Through a careful construction of content and emblematic color choice, the city image is formed. The specimen book was also used as a tool to practice editorial layout.
