Polychromatic Ahistory reclaims the ancient practice of polychromy—long erased from Western art history—to challenge enduring ideals of purity, beauty, and cultural value shaped by the myth of white marble. Presented through three archival boxes of painted sculptural fragments and accompanying guidebooks, the project layers object, intervention, and interpretation to explore how history is constructed, contested, and reimagined through the politics of color.

Jack is a multi-disciplinary designer from New Orleans, LA, and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and an M.Arch from Tulane University. As a designer, Jack has worked in the fields of architecture, graphic design, experience design, and strategy.

In his practice, Jack seeks to foster meaningful connections between people, place, and story. He reimagines design as a vessel—collecting fragments of ephemeral moments and histories—and invites others to engage, remember, and co-create. Whether through sculptural books that unfold like rivers, installations that evoke loss and resilience, or experiential graphics that activate space, Jack aims to transform design into an immersive invitation to reflect on the flux of life.

Currently working with Isometric Studio as an architectural and graphic designer, but please feel free to reach out by email for any collaborations, commissions, or simply to say hi!
